Only 25p a day could land you £10,000 if you get lucky!
In 2001, Lincoln City Football Club became the first Football League Club to be owned by the Community. The Imps were very keen to build on their new found status as a Community Club and joined with locally owned community-based retailer Lincoln Co-Operative Society in launching a very exciting new Lottery called 'The Imps Community Weather Game'.
The game can offer punters a chance to win £10,000 every Monday to Thursday for only 25p per day.
Fans can pick up Application Forms at various points around the ground, in the Club bars and at the Club Office. You can also join onto www.theweatherlottery.com.
This lottery is not just aimed at loyal regular patrons of Sincil Bank. The Imps want to make sure that the lottery is available to everyone and that is why the emphasis has been on making the lottery a 'Community Lottery'.
To date we have had no fewer than three jackpot winners, who have all won a cool £10,000 each!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Choose six numbers from 0 - 9 and enter them in the centre panel inside the Application Form.
Every day we will take the last digit of the recorded temperature (in Farenheit) as reported in the Daily Telegraph for six destinations.
If your numbers match the last digit of the daily Fahrenheit Temperatures (in the right order) of Corfu, Istanbul, Tenerife, Innsbruck, Edinburgh and Stockholm, you win the top prize of
£10,000
Example Line (your chosen numbers)
|
Corfu |
Istanbul |
Tenerife |
Innsbruck |
Edinburgh |
Stockholm |

The six world destinations are constant and do not change. Your 1st number is always matched against Corfu, your second number is always matched against Istanbul, etc.
Example Temperatures (Farenheit)
Match 3 numbers and win £2
Match 4 numbers and win £20
Match 5 numbers and win £200
Match 6 numbers and win £10,000
Win or lose, your numbers are automatically re-entered into the next daily competition (Monday to Thursday).
WHERE DOES MY MONEY GO?
Your money is shared between the prize fund and investment into Lincoln City F.C., helping the Club so it can build for the future.
HOW DO I KNOW IF I'VE WON?
You can check your numbers daily online at www.theweatherlottery.com, in the Lincolnshire Echo, the Daily Telegraph, or by calling 0113 2750002. You do not need to make a claim as all prizes are guaranteed and sent out automatically to lucky winners.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST LINCOLN CITY FC?
Absolutely nothing! The Lincoln Co-Operative Society has sponsored the Game and the Weather Lottery cover the administration.
